Uncontrollable work
Uncontrollable work
Uncontrollable work means that your employers do not report how many hours you work, only your gross wage. This also applies if you are not paid for a specific number of working hours but are paid per task you complete instead.
If you receive supplementary unemployment benefits and your work is uncontrollable, we convert your gross salary to hours, using a fixed conversion rate, when we pay you unemployment benefits.
You will encounter the term uncontrollable work when filling out your benefit card.
