As you approach the completion of your studies, it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with the rules of unemployment benefits.
There are some important deadlines to remember right after you receive your final grade.

If you’re unable to attend, you can find all the information in the Guide for Graduates at aka.dk/graduate

We go through important deadlines you need to keep in mind when transitioning from student to new graduate:

  • When and how to change your status from student to graduate

  • When and how to register as unemployed if you want to apply for unemployment benefits

  • How to apply for unemployment benefits

  • What to do if you have a part-time job and want to apply for supplementary unemployment benefits

The deadline for registration as unemployed and applying for benefits depends on whether you have been a student member for more or less than 11 months.
If you are unsure how long you have been a member, you can find your date of registration on aka.dk.
Log in to Mit AKA and click on My Information.

During the event, you get the opportunity to ask questions. However, please note that there may be personal or case-specific questions we cannot answer during the event.
