Waiting day

Waiting day (karensdag)

A waiting day is a day where you do not receive unemployment benefits.

Every fourth month of unemployment includes a waiting day. You can avoid the waiting day if you work more than 148 hours within the four-month period. This happens automatically when you submit your benefit card.
