As unemployed you can do voluntary work (frivilligt arbejde) in social and humanitarian organizations without it affecting your unemployment benefits. You must, however, notify us that you are doing voluntary work.

If you engage in voluntary work, you must still be available for the labour market. This means you must be able to take work, actively search for jobs, and attend interviews or other mandatory appointments.
