Supplementary unemployment benefits (supplerende dagpenge)
If you have a part-time job, you may be eligible to receive supplementary unemployment benefits (supplerende dagpenge). This means that you supplement your income from your part-time job with unemployment benefits.
Please notify the a-kasse on the first day of employment so we can get information about the employment in due time prior to you filling out the information on the benefit card.
When filling out your benefit card , you must indicate whether you have been employed. You receive supplementary unemployment benefits for up to 160.33 hours per month. For example, if you work 70 hours in a month, we will supplement with unemployment benefits for 90.33 hours. If you work more than 145.6 hours a month, we cannot pay supplementary unemployment benefits for that month.
