Release certificate (frigørelsesattest)

A release certificate (frigørelsesattest) is a form your employer signs to allow you to resign from your job from day to day, if you find another job with more hours, even if you have a notice period .

If your contract specifies a notice period, the unemployment insurance fund must receive a release certificate within 5 weeks from the first day of employment, or from the time you register as recipient of unemployed benefits (ledig dagpengemodtager) on jobnet.dk.
