Provider

Provider (forsørger)

You are a provider when you become a parent to a biological or adopted child.

You are obligated to support your child until your child turns 18, or until your child under 18 gets married or has their own child/children. The support obligation (forsørgerpligt) does not depend on whether the child lives with you. However, if your child moves to another country, it may affect your “forsørgerpligt”.

Please contact us if this is the case.
