Part-time insurance
You have the option to be part-time insured (deltidsforsikret) if you cannot be available for the labour market for more than 30 hours a week, or if you do not wish to work more than 30 hours a week.
When you are unemployed and part-time insured, your unemployment benefit rate is correspondingly lower than if you were full-time insured. See the current unemployment benefit rates. You pay less for your membership. See the current membership fee rates.
Please note that there are requirements for the number of working hours if you wish to become full-time insured again.
