Non-Eligibility Period (venteperiode)

If you are self-employed as your main occupation and close your business, you can only receive unemployment benefits after a so-called non-eligibility period.

This period lasts for 3 weeks and starts the day after you close your business.

If you close a business where you are partially self-employed, there is no non-eligibility period.
