Membership fee

You pay a membership fee to be a member of an a-kasse. You pay in advance for your membership. You pay for 3 months at a time.

We will send the bill via e-Boks. We recommend that you sign up future payments to the Betalingsservice, so the payment is made automatically. This saves you the trouble of having to pay your bills manually and risk getting reminders, if you miss a a payment. 

If you are a student, your membership is free until you graduate or turn 30. To make sure that you are eligible for receiving unemployment benefits, either as a recent graduate or later, it is important that you pay for your membership in time.
