Gardening Leave (fritstillet)
Gardening leave (in Danish fritstillet) means that you do not have to attend work during your notice period . You keep your pay and other contractual benefits.
Your notice period is the time after you have resigned your position or your employment has been terminated, during which you are still either obligated or entitled to work at the workplace and thus receive your usual salary.
You must register as unemployed only after your notice period has ended.
