We communicate digitally

You find a complete overview of all letters and messages in your inbox in Mit AKA. When there is a new message, we send a notification via e-mail.

Messages from Akademikernes A-kasse are digital, and as a rule, we do not send letters by post. You find letters and other messages in your inbox, when you are logged into Mit AKA. 

You get an e-mail when there is a new message in your inbox

You are responsible for checking if there are new messages for you in your inbox on Mit AKA. However, you don’t need to keep an eye on it yourself - we send a notification to your e-mail, whenever there is a new mesasge in your inbox. In the e-mail, you find a brief summary of the letter.  

It is essential to keep your e-mail address in Mit AKA up to date.

Your inbox provides you with a comprehensive overview of the letters you have received from Akademikernes A-kasse.

You can also see the messages you have sent to Akademikernes A-kasse and the replies. If you have attached documents to your messages, you are also be able to see them in the inbox. Under Forms/Submitted Forms, you can view the forms you have previously sent to us.

If you are no longer a member, you can still log in to Mit AKA and get an overview.

We assure you your safety

When you are logged in to Mit AKA with MitID, you are on a secure page, encrypted with a security certificate. With digital letters, you avoid having sensitive personal information included in an e-mail or a letter that might end up at your neighbor's address.

Your inbox on Mit AKA should not be confused with eBoks. Letters in eBoks do not provide the same opportunity for a comprehensive overview of the communication between you and us.

You may be exempt from digital mail in certain circumstances

In very special cases, you can be exempted from receiving digital post from us. In that case, we will send our letters by post instead. You can be exempted if you: 

  • have a disability that prevents you from communicating digitally 
  • do not have access to a computer with sufficient internet access at home
  • are registered as having left Denmark 
  • are homeless 
  • have language difficulties 
  • have practical difficulties obtaining MitID
