Maternity/paternity benefits

f you are unemployed or do not receive a salary during all or part of your maternity/paternity leave, you can apply for maternity/paternity benefits. Udbetaling Danmark is responsible for paying out these benefits.

If you are unemployed, you must notify us that you are going on maternity/paternity leave no later than 5 weeks before your due date. We will make sure to inform Udbetaling Danmark.
